Loaded tomato and onion rice porridge. Porridge rice is such a rich rice…

Loaded tomato and onion rice porridge. Bulgur rice is just such a rich rice alternative. My family is a big fan of it. This particular recipe is a very traditional tomato based style. >I've kept mine to just tomatoes and onions, but you can also add some diced fresh green hot or non-hot green peppers and saute it along with the onions in the first stage. As for the tomatoes and onions, I made mine with plenty but you can reduce yours and change them to your liking. There are not any rules. Serves 4 Ingredients: – 1/4 cup olive oil – 70 g butter – 2 cups semolina – 3 small onions or 1 large one (thickly diced) – 5 tomatoes (peeled and diced) – 1 tablespoon pepper paste (you can find it at International Isle or in Mediterranean stores, alternatively leave it out) – 1 tbsp tomato paste – Salt (preferred) I used 1 tsp – cracked pepper (preferred) I used 1.5 tsp – 4.5 cups liquid of my choice. (I used 2 cups of chicken bone broth and 2.5 cups of water) Directions – Wash the oatmeal like rice until the water runs clear. - Put the olive oil and onions in a pan and saute them on medium heat until the onions caramelize. – Place the tomatoes. Sauté until the tomatoes are soft. – Place the tomato and pepper paste, cook the paste for about another two minutes. – Add the butter mixture from the inside – Add the oatmeal mixture and then add your liquid of choice, salt and pepper. Mixture. - Close the lid and let it simmer on low heat until the water is absorbed. Good appetite .
