Takoyaki French Toast Bites. A fun and different way to serve a typical French toast and make it more suitable for little hands. Fun bite-sized French toast your little ones will love. To get the round shape, I used an electric Takoyaki pan. I bought mine from ebay. ***A little tip when using the electric pan… It heats up very quickly and can get very hot, I turn mine on and off in between cooking to avoid burning the product. ***You can make these sweet if you like, just add some cinnamon, ignore the salt and replace it with some sugar of your choice. Makes 20 ingredients * 3 slices of toast thick slice of bread * 3 eggs * 3 tablespoons of milk * Salt * Pepper Directions * Cut the bread into cubes * Beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a wide bowl very well. * Combine the bread cubes into the egg and mix to combine. * Turn on the Takoyaki pan, once it is slightly warm, butter the cavities. (I literally just took the entire block of butter and rubbed it on to coat, alternatively you can melt the butter and brush it on) * Pour the mixture all the way to the top surface. Using a wooden skewer, flip the French toast as it cooks. (Turn the pan on and off where you think it's cooking too fast and turn it back on when you're ready) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
